Children and Families Social Work Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Support and Safeguarding team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families when they need it most.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker who has completed their ASYE, registered with Social Work England, and has the commitment and passion to be at the forefront of delivering best practice and support to children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families
- Leading and supporting a team of social workers in ensuring the safety and well-being of children across the county
- Awareness of the main legislative framework within which the role operates
- Knowledge of the range of services available to children and families and of the organisational framework within which they are provided
