About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Social Work Professional - Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience of working with children and families who are subject to a Child Protection Plan or Child in Need plan. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis.

About the Team

Our Safeguarding teams are dedicated to protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We work in a creative and solution-focused way to keep children, young people, and families together when it is safe to do so.

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that children and young people receive the support and care they need. You will work closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in social work or a related field.
  • Experience of working with children and families who are subject to a Child Protection Plan or Child in Need plan.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including:
