About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Prevention and Public Health Expert to join our academic team based in Carlisle. As a Senior Teaching Fellow, you will focus on teaching public health skills, including health inequalities, epidemiology, and health improvement approaches. The role involves supporting curriculum development, creating teaching materials, establishing assessment and monitoring processes, and delivering teaching and assessment from August 2025.

This is a full-time, open-ended role based in the Pears Cumbria School of Medicine, Fusehill Street Campus, Carlisle. You will be required to travel within Cumbria as needed. Interviews are expected to take place in Carlisle. The successful candidate will have a MSc or PhD in public health or a related field, with evidence of teaching experience and expertise in epidemiology, health inequalities, and health service planning.
