Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our catering services meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Site-Specific Hospitality Services: Oversee the delivery of hospitality services at all four locations, ensuring that they meet the contract and weekly events requirements.
  • Drive Hospitality Performance: Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), labor, and costs to drive hospitality performance and improve efficiency.
  • Control Costs: Ensure that costs are controlled and charged in line with budget, and manage weekly stock takes to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Facilitate a High-Performing Team: Foster a high-support, high-challenge performance management culture that motivates and engages your team.
  • Operational Knowledge and Skills: Possess operational knowledge, skills, and experience in managing multi-service operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Show resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrate the ability to interpret and utilize varied financial and commercial information to inform decision-making.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the unit complies with all company and client policies, site rules, and statutory regulations, including health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Similar Environment: Have worked in a similar environment at a management level, possessing excellent supervisory and communication skills.
  • Proven Leadership Skills: Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development.
  • Excellent Health and Safety Knowledge: Possess excellent Health & Safety knowledge and be able to ensure that the unit complies with all relevant regulations.
  • Financial Acumen and IT Literacy: Be financially astute and have strong IT literacy, with the ability to interpret and utilize varied financial and commercial information.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Be innovative and creative, driven by excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
