Consultant in Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia Position

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant in Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia to join our team at NHS.

The estimated salary for this position is £83,764 - £108,614 per annum, based on experience.

As a Consultant in Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to children and pregnant women. You will work closely with the Paediatric and Obstetric teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.

The post will involve a significant amount of time spent on Labour Ward, covering elective Caesarean sections and ante-natal anaesthetic assessments. You will also be required to participate in clinical audit, teaching, and training of junior staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) or equivalent, with a CCT (or equivalent) and entry on the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia. You should also possess higher training in general, urological, and gynaecological surgery, as well as higher training in paediatric anaesthesia.
