About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Delivery Assistant to join our team at Plymouth Station. As a key member of our station operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient departure of trains, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe station environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the safe and punctual departure of trains from the station, adhering to strict procedures and protocols.
  • Provide helpful information and assistance to customers, including answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe station environment, including the toilets, waiting rooms, platforms, stairs, and subways.
  • Liaise with other key GWR departments to ensure accurate and timely customer information, especially during times of disruption.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use GWR operational apps.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
