About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Delivery Assistant at Plymouth Station. As a key member of our station team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trains and providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high levels of customer service and support to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the safe and punctual departure of trains from the station, following correct dispatch procedures and maintaining a safe and secure environment for passengers and staff.
  • Provide helpful information and assistance to customers, including answering questions about train schedules, fares, and other travel-related information.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the station, including the platforms, waiting rooms, and other public areas.
  • Liaise with other key GWR departments to ensure accurate and timely customer information, especially in times of disruption.
Requirements
  • Able to deliver exceptional customer service and support to passengers.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Able to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
