Be part of our delivery team as a Customer Delivery Assistant and help us make good food joyful for everyone. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering our customers' shopping on-time and in great condition. You will be the face of Sainsbury's, making sure customers are greeted with a smile on the doorstep, professionally dealing with their queries, and keeping them aware of any delays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering customer shopping on-time and in great condition
  • Providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers with a smile and professionally dealing with their queries
  • Keeping customers aware of any delays or issues
  • Working efficiently and effectively to meet delivery targets

As a Customer Delivery Assistant, you will also be responsible for helping out in the store when not out on the road. This may include tasks such as restocking shelves, processing customer transactions, and supporting other colleagues.

For insurance purposes, you must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it. You will also be required to complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and a driving assessment when you join us.
