Senior Theatre Practitioner

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the leading private hospitals in Oxfordshire, The Cherwell Hospital.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art theatres.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent clinical outcomes and a strong commitment to patient safety. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert theatre nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.
  • Liaising with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Participating in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the NMC/HCPC.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
