About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Anaesthetic Specialty Doctor to join our team at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking pre-operative assessments, theatre sessions, and participating in the Registrar grade 1:8 rota covering ITU, Obstetrics, Theatre, and A&E.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake regular pre-operative assessments to ensure patients receive safe and effective care.
  • To participate in theatre sessions, utilizing your skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
  • To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • To contribute to clinical audit, teaching, and research initiatives within the department.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • GMC Registration with a license to practice.
  • Primary FRCA or equivalent qualification.
  • ALS certification.
  • APLS/PILS certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in participation in regular clinical audit.

Salary Information

The salary range for this role is £52,530 - £82,400 per annum, providing a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.
