About the Job

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is seeking two enthusiastic Specialty Doctors in Anaesthetics to join our team. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with the opportunity to work in a busy District General Hospital.

We are looking for doctors who wish to practice anaesthesia and critical care medicine in a medium-sized district hospital with modern premises, a friendly atmosphere, and developments in many areas relevant to anaesthesia and critical care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake pre-operative assessments
  • Conduct theatre sessions
  • Participate in the Registrar grade 1:8 rota covering ITU, Obstetrics, Theatre, and A&E
  • Participate in Clinical Audit, teaching, and research

The successful candidate will participate in the Registrar grade on-call rota.
