Lead Anaesthetist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist Specialist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a Senior Consultant in Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical opinion on a range of problems both emergency and elective within the specialty.
The job holder will be expected to participate in elective theatres, on-call activity, and other duties as required. They will also be responsible for taking full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients, including those requiring intensive care medicine and obstetric anaesthesia.
This is a permanent position with a salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum. The ideal candidate will have advanced training in Obstetrics and experience of conducting clinical audits. They will also be able to use the evidence base and clinical audit to support decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical opinion on a range of problems both emergency and elective within the specialty
- Participate in elective theatres, on-call activity, and other duties as required
- Take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
Requirements:
- Advanced training in Obstetrics
- Experience of conducting clinical audits
