About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a senior anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at George Eliot Hospital. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in various specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Working as a consultant anaesthetist in ITU and Obstetrics/General
  • Providing specialist care to patients, including those requiring critical care and obstetric services
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff members

The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in airway management, ventilation and pharmacology, as well as experience of managing critically ill patients. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.

Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration with a Licence to practise
  • Entry on Specialist Register in Anaesthesia or CCT expected within 6 months of interview date FRCA or equivalent exam
  • ALS / APLS provider status

£105,504 - £139,882 per annum (dependent on experience)
