Job Title: Financial Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join Jacob Thomas Associates in our mission to deliver exceptional financial services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the success of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, supporting reconciliations
  • Review control accounts reconciliations, aid year-end accounting, extract profit and loss analysis
  • Oversee bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor sales and purchase ledger, provide authorisation
  • Assist year-end accounts, provide support during annual audit
  • Authorise bank payments, overheads
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow
  • Manage annual budget process
  • Submit monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC
  • Provide reports to management team
  • Conduct monthly 1-2-1's, annual Performance Development Reviews with the team
  • Identify, report risks to Senior Management
  • Negotiate company insurance

Requirements:
  • Senior finance experience, AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
  • IT literate, advanced Excel experience
  • Knowledge of Access Dimensions useful but not essential
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures, legislation
  • Experienced in daily, weekly, monthly, annual accounting
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
