About this Role

Community Academies Trust is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to collaborate with our South Warwickshire schools. The successful candidate will have high expectations, an understanding of financial compliance, and the ability to foster strong working relationships to ensure effective outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • E nsure the Trust's financial scheme of delegation, policies, and procedures are complied with consistently and aligned to ESFA and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice.
  • Assist the Business Support Manager in welcoming new schools into the Trust, inducting them into the Trust's financial processes, and helping to set budgets and produce financial models.
  • Contribute to the provision of financial management information to the CFO and Trust Executive Group.

The role requires willingness and ability to travel to multiple schools across the Midlands area.

Requirements:
  • High expectations and understanding of financial compliance.
  • Able to foster strong working relationships.
  • Fluent spoken English.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
