Senior Theatre Practitioner

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art theatres.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theatre nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

  • Providing expert theatre nursing care to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.
  • Liaising with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Participating in regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the NMC/HCPC.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in scrub, Anaesthetics, and Recovery.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
