Abuse Support and Strategy Implementation Lead

Birmingham City Council is committed to employing, retaining, and developing all of our people. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Domestic Abuse Prevention Team as a Fixed Term Contract until 31st October 2025.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000, based on national standards. Please note that this figure may vary depending on qualifications and experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading on implementing Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act, which places new duties on local authorities to provide domestic abuse support in safe accommodation for all victims. They will manage and oversee the action plan pertaining to the newly established and agreed Domestic Abuse Prevention Strategy 2024+, collaborating with stakeholders to identify key pathways for victims of domestic abuse.
- This includes developing and implementing strategies to prevent and tackle domestic abuse across the city.
- Collaborating with partners to drive our Domestic Abuse Local Strategic Partnership Board forward.
