Domestic Abuse Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathic individual to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Support Specialist. The successful candidate will work part-time in our Domestic Abuses Service in Birmingham, providing support to vulnerable adults and their children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance to service users
- Assist with daily living tasks and help with accessing local services
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless support for customers
Requirements
- Sound knowledge of Domestic Violence and Abuse, including its impact on customers and their children
- Good understanding of how to apply for Universal Credit and other benefits
- Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and customers alike
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £18,954 per annum (£9.50 per hour)
