About the Role

The Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Support Professional to join their team at a top primary school in Thame. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate teaching assistant to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the EYFS classes, focusing on numeracy and literacy.

Job Description
  1. Provide general classroom support, including helping the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  2. Assist children with their learning, focusing on numeracy and literacy tasks.
  3. Work with small groups and provide 1:1 reading support.
  4. Engage in extra-curricular activities as part of the role.

The salary for this role is estimated to be £85 per day, paid by the hour. Requirements
Candidates must have a degree-level qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification. Previous experience working with children is essential. A minimum of a C grade in GCSE Maths and English is also required. Strong academic background is preferred.
