Assistant Employment Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Employment Advisor. In this role, you will work closely with our Employment Advisors to provide direct support to participants, helping them to find and sustain employment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting participants in their job search and identifying suitable self-development opportunities
  • Organising and conducting job-club activities, either one-to-one or in groups, to help with CVs and job applications
  • Working with a diverse group of people, providing a warm and welcoming experience to help our customers in their first steps back into employment

In return for your dedication and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £23,088 to £25,200 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a range of excellent benefits, including:

This is an office-based role, working in Bournemouth, with 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm.

Minimum Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations
  • Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
  • Knowledge of the employability industry
  • Experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Experience of working with people in the provision of 'information, advice & guidance'
  • Full driving licence
