Job Title: GP Training Programme Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GP Training Programme Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of general practice education and training.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality education and training programs for GP trainees. This will involve working closely with our team of educational supervisors, clinical educators, and other stakeholders to ensure that our trainees receive the best possible education and training.

You will be expected to have a strong understanding of current primary care issues and be able to demonstrate an innovative and inclusive approach to delivering high-quality education. Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality education and training programs for GP trainees
  • Work closely with educational supervisors, clinical educators, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality education and training
  • Develop and implement innovative education and training strategies to meet the needs of GP trainees
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education and training programs
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of education and training programs
Requirements
  • General practitioner with MRCGP
  • Attendance at courses aimed to support educational development (example: educator courses, Train the Trainer, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of current primary care issues
  • Innovative and inclusive approach to delivering high-quality education
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and presentation skills
