Senior User Experience Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Experience Designer to join our dynamic online travel brand. As a key member of our cross-functional web site in-house product team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional user experiences for our customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital B2C UX, with a proven track record of delivering superb UX and a strong portfolio of past achievements. You will work closely with our Business Analyst, Product Owner, Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist, and Web Developers to evolve and improve the UX of our responsive websites as we scale up our business.

We need a great communicator with exceptional design skills, someone who embraces change and is prepared to go the extra mile to achieve business objectives. The UX Designer will liaise with internal stakeholders to guarantee a coherent and brand-aligned web site design and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing customer journeys and improving usability
  • Designing responsive UX for eCommerce concepts like product search, displaying product information, online payments, and checkout journey, user accounts, and post-sale functionality
  • Conducting user research and user testing
  • Utilising data from multi-variant testing
  • Accessing and using analytics data
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, including taking ownership
  • Strong technical design knowledge and skills
Requirements:
  • UX design in B2C Digital in travel, luxury clothing brands, luxury experiences, cruises, etc.
  • Expertise with designing customer journeys and improving usability
  • Proven track record delivering superb UX, strong portfolio of past achievements
  • Working using agile processes
  • Running design workshops, retrospectives, a fail-fast approach, iterative, and incremental change
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Honors degree in Design
