Senior UX Designer

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a dynamic online hospitality brand. The business has ambitious growth plans, and we're looking for a UX expert to help us deliver exceptional online experiences for our customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

You will provide UX expertise to a cross-functional web site Product team, working closely with a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist, and Web Developers. Your goal will be to iteratively evolve and improve the UX of our responsive websites as we scale up our business.

We need a great communicator, with exceptional design skills, someone who is passionate about delivering business objectives. The UX Designer will liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a coherent and brand-aligned web site design and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing customer journeys and improving usability for a large business that sells experiences.
  • Creating responsive UX for ecommerce concepts like product search, displaying product information, online payments, and checkout journeys, user accounts, and post-sale functionality.
  • Delivering superb UX, with a strong portfolio of past achievements.
  • Working using agile processes, including running design workshops, retrospectives, and iterative and incremental change.
  • Data-driven decision making, including conducting user research and user testing, utilising data from multi-variant testing, and accessing and using analytics data.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, including taking ownership.
  • Strong technical design knowledge and skills, including responsive web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mock-up and wireframe tools, user journey modelling tools, and design tools.
  • Honours degree in Design.
