Job Title: Lead SEN English Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience with SEN allowance


Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Lead English Teacher to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The role involves leading and coordinating the English curriculum, managing literacy and phonics interventions, and developing English as a key academic focus.


Key responsibilities include training staff, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, and acting as the Careers Officer to ensure compliance with the Gatsby Benchmarks. The successful candidate will have a PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed, or equivalent, with experience in SEN, safeguarding, and managing challenging behaviors.
