Teaching Assistant Role

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced ABA Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and working with children with autism.

About the School

The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for young children with autism, utilising the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and the pyramid approach to education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver teaching using ABA and PECS (where appropriate) and organise workload for pupils.
  • Work in a High Dependency Unit on a 1:1 and small group basis with children diagnosed with autism.
  • Participate in regular training and development reviews with senior leaders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children with autism.
  • Knowledge of ABA and PECS.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
