Gleeson Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading Financial Institution to find a Senior Procurement & Contracts Manager.

This role will be part of the strategic growth of the UK business, acting as the point of contact for all procurement queries. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Procurement and Contract Management Teams, driving performance and optimising results.

The Procurement team is responsible for securing supplier contracts that balance cost reduction, value engineering, and risk management. The Contract Management Team oversees the performance of outsourced partners and ensures adherence to UK relationship management guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The holder of this role will provide direction and leadership to direct reports, seeking opportunities to transform the delivery of the function. This includes sourcing activity, onboarding, local and central reporting, governance, and control.
  • Ownership of the Procurement & Supplier Management Committee delivery.
  • Management of the annual sourcing activity program, including central expense and savings reporting.
  • Oversight of all sourcing activities within the UK team's remit, including SSJ and direct negotiation activities, with some major RFP contracts under individual remit.
  • Ensuring end-to-end policies, sourcing limits, procedures, and control frameworks are in place, regularly reviewed and optimised to support business strategic aims.
  • Leading engagement with central and UK territory counterparts to ensure best practice and adherence to Group Norms.
  • Management of the Essential and Sensitive Suppliers list, TPRM process, regulatory changes, and associated governance.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a Senior Procurement role.
  • Experience specifically within IT Procurement.
  • Experience in other indirect categories.
  • Previous experience working within a Professional Services or Financial Services business.
