About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controller to join our Service & Compliance team based in Castleford. This 12-month fixed-term contract will involve managing planned maintenance events in accordance with current Service Level Agreements and delivering a "best in class" customer experience.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations, and service events are scheduled and executed efficiently. Additionally, you will ensure that "best cost solutions" are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with the scheduling of statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations, and service events for all Plant & Vehicles
  • Ensure that "best cost solutions" are adopted for the provision of all maintenance events
  • Contact customers to arrange and book compliance and service events, including MOT's
  • Process defect reports following a scheduled event and arrange remedial repairs as required
  • Processing recharges in accordance with SLA's
  • Book external repairers and raising/processing PO's for your nominated contracts.
  • Support the breakdown team during busy periods

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in a similar role within the plant and fleet sector
  • Strong commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
  • Able to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Able to use a number of internal systems, so you got good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fleet Maintenance related software would be an advantage however training will be provided
