We are seeking a Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our expanding Compliance team based in Castleford.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to ensure that planned maintenance events are managed in accordance with current Service Level Agreements and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the compliance of scheduled & reactive maintenance, ensuring HGV's in their regional area are set up on Key2 & Asset-Go, and allocating tasks to relevant Internal/External maintenance providers.
In this role, you will build strong relationships with customers, transport managers, and drivers to deliver exceptional commercial vehicle maintenance and compliance services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the implementation of scheduled and reactive maintenance activities
- Collaborate with customers, transport managers, and drivers to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure all maintenance events are allocated to relevant providers, with accurate documentation and paperwork uploaded onto fleet management systems
- Develop and maintain a network of reliable maintenance suppliers to support regional areas
- Conduct regular review meetings with supply chain partners to drive improvement and collaboration
- Proven experience in commercial vehicle maintenance operations or a related field
- Sound knowledge of DVSA's guide to maintaining roadworthiness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Cat B driving license
- Able to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy
