About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist Practitioner to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CAMHS team, you will play a vital role in providing holistic assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and planning, to identify clients' needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring seamless collaboration with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide specialist consultation services to families and professionals through our CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) system.
Requirements
  • A registered mental health nurse, social worker, or occupational therapist with a current driving license and access to a vehicle during working hours.
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills, as well as expertise in risk management and assessment.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with people and their carers to ensure involvement in the assessment and care planning process.

Estimated Salary: £38,890 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience.
