Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident CAMHS Community Practitioner to join our team in the NHS.

The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating skilled interventions to address identified needs and risks for allocated clients on a defined caseload.

You will work closely with families and professionals to provide holistic assessments, including risk assessment and planning, whilst contributing to the delivery of short-term individualized treatment programs.

Your role will also involve working within the CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) to support families and professionals through providing specialist consultation over the phone.

In addition, you will offer support and supervision to identified members of the team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people experiencing mental health concerns. As an autonomous practitioner, you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and work collaboratively with other teams to achieve the best outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist
  • A Current driving licence and access to a car during the working day is essential (reasonable adjustments will be considered for any applicants who are unable to drive due to a disability).
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

Location

The role will be based in South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust, covering areas such as Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield.
