Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment to children and young people with mental health needs.
The post-holder will work within the Core Team, providing thorough risk assessments and care planning, as well as providing therapeutic intervention through individual and group work with young people in the locality. They will also work with other agencies such as schools and social care.
The role requires a current driving license and access to a car during working hours, although reasonable adjustments can be made for candidates with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience working with children, young people, and their carers in a mental health or complex care setting. They will also possess clinical/therapeutic knowledge and skills in mental health, including experience in assessment and risk management, and evidence-based practice.
