Clinical Psychologist and Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Mental Health Services team in Greenwich and Bexley. The successful candidate will provide clinical and professional leadership, contributing to the development of clinical, professional, and service initiatives across Oxleas CAMHS.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership for the MHST service, ensuring high-quality care and good clinical governance.
- Contribute to the work of the Oxleas CAMHS Leadership Team, collaborating with other Clinical Leads and senior managers.
- Develop and implement clinical, professional, and service developments across Oxleas CAMHS.
- Ensure the conduct of research, audits, outcomes reporting, quality improvement, and service evaluation relevant to the provision of clinical care.
- Link with regional and national developments, implementing changes to improve MHST services.
- Post-graduate Doctoral level training and qualification in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the BPS and recognized by HCPC.
- Completed training in clinical supervision and leadership.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, relevant to the post.
- Further training in a specialized area of psychological practice, relevant to children and young people's mental health.
- Evidence of working as a clinical specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services, including complex adolescents.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision and carrying out research and quality improvement projects.
- Advanced theoretical knowledge of child and adolescent mental health and relevant interventions.
- Knowledge of assessment procedures and clinical psychometrics, including advanced knowledge and experience in administering assessments.
