Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team of clinicians at Wandsworth Talking Therapies, a service provided by South West London & St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based psychological treatments to individuals with common mental health problems, including depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and interventions to clients, including diagnostic assessments and evidence-based CBT treatment.
  2. Provide clinical supervision to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Low Intensity Trainees, and High Intensity Trainees.
  3. Participate in regular clinical supervision and training sessions to maintain and develop clinical skills.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
  • Eligible for full accreditation as a CBT Therapist with the BABCP.
  • Experience of working with clients with common mental health problems, including depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Arrangements

The post holder will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service. A full driving license and access to a car are desirable.
