About the RoleThis part-time position (18 hours per week) involves working as a team psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide psychological assessments and therapy to individuals and groups. You will also be responsible for collaborating with the MDT to develop care plans, providing training and supervision to colleagues, and evaluating the service to contribute to its development and carry out clinical research.
You will be joining us at Cygnet Lodge Kenton, a female high support inpatient rehabilitation service that provides a care pathway for service users preparing to step down from hospital stays and transition into community living.
Requirements- Holds a HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist with experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting.
- Possesses training in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT.
- Is passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs, including self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, history of sexual offending, and drug and alcohol problems.
