Cornish Sea Salt Company is a leading manufacturer of high-quality sea salt, hand-harvested from the pristine waters off Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula. With rapid growth and national distribution among major UK multiple grocers, our brand has become a staple in the sector.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled National Account Manager to join our team and drive sales growth through strategic partnerships with key wholesale partners in the UK foodservice industry.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing national accounts, developing market data, and implementing promotional activities to drive sales. A deep understanding of the wholesale channel, particularly in foodservice, is essential for this role.
We are looking for an experienced professional who can live within commuting distance of our head office in Helston (TR13) and be willing to travel nationally as required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in national account management and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with key wholesale partners in the UK foodservice industry to increase sales of Cornish Sea Salt.
- Manage existing accounts to maximize their potential and develop new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Develop and implement promotional materials to drive sales growth.
- Provide regular sales reports to directors, highlighting pipeline opportunities and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in national account management, preferably in the foodservice industry.
- Strong understanding of the wholesale channel and its dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
