About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing first-line risk reporting, ensuring governance requirements are met to achieve desired outcomes and align with M&G's Operational Risk Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Planning and Delivery: Manage the delivery of first-line risk, assurance, controls testing, and oversight outputs in accordance with M&G's Operational Risk Framework.
  2. Quality Assurance: Be responsible for the quality of the business area's risk profile, maintaining documentation and systems, including Risk registers, issue closures, controls descriptions, risk acceptances, assessments, etc.
  3. Risk Governance: Attend and support risk governance meetings as required.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues, supporting and coaching them to ensure the team provides excellent service to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in applying quality assurance and control methodologies in a Financial Services operational environment.
  • Knowledge of life and pensions products, markets, and competitors.
Salary

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
