Support and Inclusion Specialist

Stirling Council is seeking a skilled Support and Inclusion Specialist to join their team, promoting positive outcomes for children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This role will involve working closely with schools, families, and community partners to develop targeted support programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for inclusion, and experience in working with vulnerable populations. They will be required to form positive relationships with families, deliver evidence-based programs, and provide referrals to relevant services.
The estimated salary range for this position is £32,412 - £35,061 per annum, reflecting the skills and qualifications required for this role. The successful candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, biennial incremental progression, and membership in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inclusive support programs for children and young people
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and community partners to promote positive outcomes
- Provide guidance and referrals to relevant services as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, education)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
