About the Position

As a Child Protection Specialist within Stirling Council's Children & Families service, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in our care.

Key responsibilities will include carrying a varied workload, working collaboratively with colleagues to identify and address local needs and risks, and promoting community wellbeing and safety through effective decision-making.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £32,239 - £40,442. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:

  • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service)
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid office/work from home options
  • Biennial incremental progression until top of payscale reached
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Up to 6 months full sick pay and 6 months half pay dependent on length of service
  • Carers Leave and up to 4 weeks paid Paternity Leave
