Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented orthopaedic surgeon to provide comprehensive trauma and orthopaedic services to patients in our region. The successful candidate will be based in the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven.
About the Role- Deliver high-quality care to patients with complex trauma and orthopaedic conditions
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in research and teaching activities to enhance the standing of the department within the Trust
The ideal candidate will possess:
- FRCS (Tr and Orth) or equivalent qualification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Evidence of recent approved fellowship training in revision knee and hip surgery
- Recent research activity in management of patients requiring lower limb - hip and knee revision surgery
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
