A Wilderness Way is seeking a qualified Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our Health and Wellbeing Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children affected by trauma.

As a Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team to provide direct therapeutic support to children, while also offering guidance to teams who support them. You will be responsible for formulating meaningful plans of support and care for our children, which will include assessment and report writing.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including annual leave, additional leave at 2 years and 5 years' service, training academy, bonuses, pension, recognition awards, and excellent health and wellbeing benefits.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of working directly with children in a psychology or counselling capacity, hold a UKCP/BACP registration and a qualification in counselling, level 4 or above, and excellent knowledge of trauma and attachment theories.
