About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team in a busy and friendly training practice located in rural North Devon.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care, with experience of leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals, and be responsible for developing and implementing policies, standards, and guidelines across nursing services.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the Practice Nurse Lead will work closely with GPs, registrars, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent outcomes.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines across nursing services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to the team.
  • Work closely with GPs, registrars, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual flu campaign.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with up-to-date NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • At least 2 years' recent nursing experience in a primary care environment.
  • Experience of leading and line managing a nursing team in a primary care environment.
