About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Service Manager to join our team at Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD). This is an exciting opportunity to lead our clinical services and make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Devon.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management of our clinical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and responsive community-integrated health care to children, young people, parents/carers, and professionals. You will work closely with other clinical pathways, health specialties, and partner organisations to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will have experience of delivering clinical practice within the area of specialty for children with complex health conditions and supervising others. Additionally, you will have experience in managing HR and recruitment processes, including staff appraisals, performance, and sickness management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective collaborative leadership and day-to-day operational management of the clinical team
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of evidence-based clinical care, including triage, assessment, clinical formulation, and care planning, treatment, and discharge of children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders to maintain a culture within the service of excellence in clinical standards and safety
  • Ensure clinical provision in the pathway is delivered to meet key performance targets
  • Ensure robust financial management of the team's activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional mental health qualification, e.g., li>
  • Additional specialist training and qualification to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent in supervision and/or leadership skills
  • Professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body, e.g., NMC, HCPC, Social Work England, UKCP, BABCP
  • Evidence of relevant CPD
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements available.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a contributory pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
