Caring Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Caring Support Specialist. This role involves delivering high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder in our Short Breaks and Supported Living services.
As a Caring Support Specialist, you will provide day-to-day support, assisting with personal care, promoting choice and control, and maximising independence. You will also contribute to creating Care and Support plans to ensure effective care is delivered throughout the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
- Encourage independence and promote choice and control
- Contribute to creating and implementing Care and Support plans
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum disorder
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
