About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Leicester. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the civil and structural engineering design on a variety of projects up to £30 million in value.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and analysis of complex structural projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and project success.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design and delivery processes.
  5. Contribute to the development of company policies, procedures, and standards related to structural engineering.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a BEng/MEng qualification in Civil and Structural Engineering or a related field.
  2. Have a minimum of 5 years' postgraduate experience in structural engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  3. Be chartered or working towards your chartership status through IStructE or ICE.
  4. Have excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  5. Be proficient in industry-standard software, including Autodesk Revit, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
