Key Responsibilities:

  3. Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to complex structural challenges, collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve project goals.
  4. Provide technical direction and oversight on complex structural projects, ensuring that designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  5. Present design concepts, project updates, and technical findings to clients, management, and regulatory authorities, effectively communicating complex technical information.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant first-class degree (e.g., MEng or BEng) in a field such as civil engineering or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in structural design, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  3. Working towards chartership status (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  4. A Full UK driving license, enabling you to travel to project sites and client meetings.
  5. Design experience in materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry, with a strong understanding of structural principles and practices.
