Exciting Opportunity for a Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success. As a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy, we offer a great opportunity for Engineers to develop their career and opportunities for progression within the company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be working alongside a highly skilled group of engineers with vast experience in UK and international projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Production of designs for infrastructure, drainage strategies, highways schemes, and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design.
  • Production of all design, drawing, and documentation associated with underground drainage systems.
  • Production of Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Production of private and small-scale adopted highways design and details, along with associated applications.
  • Undertaking inspections and surveys, preparation of reports, and site supervision of projects.
  • Manage small projects or elements of projects as appropriate.

Requirements
  • BSc/BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in the drainage and infrastructure design industry in the UK.
  • Experience in preparing and designing underground drainage systems is essential.
  • Experience in preparing the designs of different highways schemes is essential.
  • Knowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.
  • Ability to carry out cut & fill exercises using Civil 3D is desirable.
  • Experience of using vehicle tracking software would be desirable.
  • Ability to produce drawings for the structural engineering team would be desirable.
  • Excellent communicator and team worker with an eagerness to learn, committed to providing high-quality service to our clients.
