About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement kitchen procedures to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, manage inventory, and optimize kitchen operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Monitor and control kitchen costs, including labor, inventory, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management, labor control, and waste reduction.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
