Sous Chef Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food standards and leading the team to achieve our high-performance goals.


The Role

  • Lead kitchen shifts, ensuring effective and safe operations
  • Develop and implement kitchen procedures to maintain high standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus and improve kitchen efficiency
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve our high-performance goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and stock control
  • Ability to develop and implement kitchen procedures to maintain high standards
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff
