Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Senior Support Worker to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will provide one-to-one therapeutic care for children aged 6-17 from traumatic backgrounds, acting as a role model and supporting their social and educational development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with a fantastic team and supportive manager to meet the needs of our children, providing support in social and educational activities and developing learning and educational aspirations. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including uncapped overtime, increasing hours and salary by up to 50% each month, as well as fully funded enhanced DBS and a comprehensive onboarding and training plan, including Safeguarding, Clinical Understanding, and Behaviour Management. Eligibility to enrol on Management development programmes after probation also makes this an attractive opportunity for career advancement.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £28,000 - £35,000, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare
  • 1 year of experience in Children's Residential Childcare
