About the Role:

  • We provide residential childcare services that prioritize high standards of care and support.
  • You will supervise staff on shift, leading by example to ensure they provide high-quality care.
  • Assist and support the manager to run the service in line with standards and legislation.

Job Description:

The role involves providing high standards of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, behavioural, social, cultural, and educational needs of the children and young people. This includes completing daily tasks within the home, supporting young people out in the community, administering medication, peg feeding, moving and handling, and providing full personal care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a care setting supporting children and young people.
  • Supervisory experience in a care setting.
  • Flexible approach and good organisation skills.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
